Meta slap a Mega price rise on Quest 2

Meta are adding a massive $100 onto the price of the Meta Quest 2 headsets. Beginning August 1st, the price of all Meta Quest 2 headsets will increase by $100. The 128GB model will be available for purchase at $399.99 and the 256GB model for $499.99. Why? Well the world is being hit by rises in manufacturing and shipping and we suspect the relatively low prices of the Quest when launched were artificially low to get market share, so to be fair it's still a good value and any new customer will get Beat Saber thrown in for free to soften the blow. Meta quote the usual BS about 'in order to invest in future blah blah' but it is just the reality of making and shipping stuff in the era and keeping the shareholders off your back. #News #Price #Quest #VR
