To Catch a Hippogriff

The Hippogriff is a majestic beast with the front half of an eagle and back half of a horse. The Hippogriff can soar great distances and commands the respect of anyone who dares to approach it. To unlock the Hippogriff and other Flying Mounts, you first need to complete the High Keep Quest. You can reach this quest by unlocking the Wingardium Leviosa during Professor Garlick's Assignment 1 and finishing the Astronomy Class. From the Mine's Eye Floo station which is found on the southern area of the Hogwarts Valley region, head Northeast.
